Kelsey’s Bachelorette Party - After An Injury, Who Do You See First?

Who rocks the Pit Vipers better?

Yep, on the left is Kelsey, my fiancée. The theme for her bachelorette party was to dress up as ‘Bens’. I think she pulled it off pretty well. Seeing this picture reminded me what great taste in clothes I have and how cool I am……Speaking of Ben, here is why MVP Sports Rehab should be your FIRST stop after an injury.

I recently spoke with an orthopedic physician who told me how valuable we are to his practice. He said the majority of baseball players he sees do not need surgery. So what does he do? He sends them straight to physical therapy - “About 85% of the time I’m sending them to physical therapy.” So why not just go to physical therapy first?

You don’t have to see the doctor first. At MVP we offer FREE injury consultations. You do not need a physician’s referral and we can get you in right away. This can save a TON of time from trying to schedule an appointment with a physician’s office….we know how much of a hassle that can be. It also saves you the cost of that initial physician visit, where in most cases they just send you to PT anyways.

At MVP we are injury experts and can accurately diagnose your injury during the consultation, and in most cases you don’t have to see a physician at all. Sometimes we feel obtaining imaging like an X-Ray or MRI is necessary. In those cases we can set you up with a baseball specialist physician (the best in Minnesota), and will speed up the process of getting you in to see them as well.

The main point is when some is injured or in pain, a lot of times the initial instinct is to set up an appointment with the doctor. At MVP we can save you the headache and begin the recovery process much faster. So, if you, a friend, or someone else you know has suffered an injury or is having pain, give us a call and set up a free consultation! Let’s set up a plan to get you back to 100%.
